The ancient Greeks recognized the role the Golden section played in the proportions of the human body.

They utilized these same proportions in their temples structures. It was later explored by the Renaissance architects.

Since then many artists and architects have proportioned their works to approximate the golden ratio—especially in the form of the golden rectangle, in which the ratio of the longer side to the shorter is the golden ratio—believing this proportion to be aesthetically pleasing.

Mathematicians have studied the golden ratio because of its unique and interesting properties.
The golden ratio is often denoted by the Greek letter (phi). The concept of my designs is influenced by the golden section theory.

I have adopted the Golden Rectangle as my design inspiration because it embodies the idea that as artists we are never completely free when it comes to the creating process.

Awareness of the elements and principles in design is the first step in creating successful visual compositions.
